Ask For Angela Resources

Helping people discreetly seek support in licensed venues when they feel unsafe, threatened or vulnerable.

The Ask for Angela Resources page brings together everything venues and partners need to implement the scheme confidently, consistently, and responsibly.

Here you will find a comprehensive range of free, downloadable materials, including official Ask for Angela posters for display within participating venues, alongside clear staff guidance and venue implementation checklists. These resources are designed to support day-to-day operations and help staff respond appropriately and safely when someone asks for Angela.

In addition to printed materials, the Resources page includes training and educational content, such as videos and virtual learning sessions, to help venue staff understand the purpose of the scheme and their role within it. This training supports good safeguarding practice, clear decision-making, and calm, discreet responses in real-world situations.

You will also find practical templates to support policy and procedure, including venue participation records, staff and customer safeguarding policies, and brand guidelines. These documents help ensure Ask for Angela is delivered consistently, while allowing venues to integrate the scheme into their existing safeguarding and licensing frameworks.

Finally, this page provides links to national helplines and specialist support organisations, offering additional safeguarding resources for both venues and members of the public who may need further help.

All resources are provided free of charge, reflecting Ask for Angela’s commitment to accessibility, integrity, and making public spaces safer for everyone.
